Orchestra

Instead of building walls or a new stage tower, the design keeps the space open, allowing the existing slope and the view to define the experience. The orchestra can host different performances and events with flexible stage structures, from open-air concerts to temporary installations.
The stone seating area (koilon) is repaired using the same type of local cut stone from which the original theater was built. This maintains material continuity with the site and reduces visual disturbance. Damaged stones with inscriptions are preserved and displayed in the new cultural building, allowing history to remain visible and accessible.
